Registration Open: 5 - 8 Recreational League

Registration is now open for the Spring 2012 5 - 8 year old Recreational Leagues. The season will begin April 22, 2012 and run through the end of June.

West Jeff Junior Baseball League will again offer instructional modified kid pitch at our 8 yr old level, provided we have enough 8 year old teams. This is in lieu of the 2nd year machine pitch program. This program is designed to give all 7/8 year olds an opportunity to experience kid pitch and prepare them for Jefferson County Junior Baseball competitive leagues next year. Typical baseball rules are utilized, but governed to maximize learning opportunities and more effective play. Direction and emphasis will be placed on defensive positioning/fundementals, game situation awareness, and getting kids familiar and comfortable with a pitched baseball. Kid pitch teams will practice once a week. There will be an end of the season tournament for 8 year old teams.

Fees will remain the same for 2012 and will include player shirt, hat, and pants.
