2009 Summer Baseball Camp

Dear Baseball Player,
I want to invite you to attend our 2009 EHS Summer Baseball Camp. It will provide you with a comprehensive learning experience that will make you a better, more competitive player next season. We are looking forward to the prospect of educating ballplayers in the correct execution of fundamentals, and providing extra instruction that makes the difference between a good player and a great one. I am looking forward to meeting you and your family.

Registration Deadline and Deposits
A $30.00 deposit for each camper must accompany the registration form.
Please send registration forms by May. 28th , 2009. Unpaid balance is due upon check-in.
West Jeff Baseball is hosting a
"Day at Coors Field"
Sunday, June 14th
Game Time 1:00 pm
West Jeff teams will be able to participate in a pre-game parade around the warning track on Coors Field, sporting their West Jeff "colors"!

Board of Directors meet to discuss the various issues of running the league. View next meetings Agenda (or past meeting Minutes). All are welcome to attend, we encourage your participation to help fulfill the needs of running the many committees.
In the fall we held tryouts for all those players who want to play West Jeff Baseball (8RC 9-14 yr olds). Our by-laws indicate that Tryouts are required for all players 9 yrs old and above. There is new age cutoff information find out HERE. Again this year we included an 8 yr olds tryout for the 8RC team(s) it also gives players an initial experience of the tryout process. Our past experience has shown that by having tryouts in the Fall, we are able to conduct this process outdoors and this gives our competitive coaches a chance to form a team, work with a team, and prepare for the upcoming season.

The season depends on volunteers and the coaches, both head and assistant, are vital to the success of every season. Coaches applications , evaluation forms and Coaches tips provide the base information for our coaching ranks. All who are interested in coaching are welcome to apply even to simply assist the coaching staffs through the season.
Answers to most of your questions can be found at the FAQ link also on the coaches info page and the rules page. As well, we are again planning a parent information meeting. Time, date and location are currently being finalized but this forum will provide parents the opportunity for a Q&A session about WJ baseball.
