West Jeff Baseball would like to thank everyone for their interest in playing the 2008 season. Team selection has concluded and we are no longer taking registration. Our calendar for next season will be posted soon. Enjoy the season!
On Oct. 21st, we held tryouts for all those players who want to play West Jeff Baseball (8RC 9-14 yr olds). Our by-laws indicate that Tryouts are required for all players 9 yrs old and above. There is new age cutoff information find out HERE. Also this year we will also include an 8 yr olds tryout for those who are interested in playing on the 8RC team. Our past experience has shown that by having tryouts in the Fall, we are able to conduct this process outdoors and this gives our competitive coaches a chance to form a team, work with a team, and prepare for the upcoming season.

Coaches get your application in ASAP as Coaches applications are due now. The season depends on volunteers and the coaches, both head and assistant, are vital to the success of every season. Coaches applications , evaluation forms and Coaches tips provide the base information for our coaching ranks. All who are interested in coaching are welcome to apply even to simply assist the coaching staffs through the season.
Answers to most of your questions can be found at the FAQ link also on the coaches info page and the rules page. As well, we are again planning a parent information meeting. Time, date and location are currently being finalized but this forum will provide parents the opportunity for a Q&A session about WJ baseball.

The WJBB board meets the second Thursday each month (location to be announced). Next meeting is on February 7 at 7pm. The board will discuss the various issues of running the league. View next meetings Agenda (or past meeting Minutes). All are welcome to attend, we encourage your participation to help fulfill the needs of running the many committees.
